PIE
Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This page describes what PIE collects, why we collect it, and your choices.
What we do NOT collect
- No account or signup.
- No name, email, phone, or other direct identifiers.
What we collect
PIE records minimal analytics about play sessions to understand usage and improve the game:
- Anonymous user ID stored in your browser (localStorage).
- Daily play result: solved or not, number of attempts, guessed values.
- Wedge target percent for the day.
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, language, time zone, screen size, device pixel ratio, touch capability, referrer.
- Timestamps and the day key (UTC).
These events are stored on our server in an internal database. We use them only to operate and improve PIE (for example, to measure difficulty, detect abuse, and track aggregate engagement). We do not sell your data.
Cookies and storage
PIE uses browser storage (localStorage) to save your daily progress and an anonymous user ID. We do not set our own cookies; third‑party services (if enabled in the future) may use cookies under their policies.
Third‑party services
At this time, PIE does not serve ads. If we add third‑party analytics or monetization later, we will update this page and link to their policies.
Retention
Analytics events are retained for operational purposes. We periodically aggregate and may prune raw logs. If you have a deletion request for your anonymous user ID, contact us and include your approximate last play date and IP so we can locate records.
Your choices
- You can reset today’s game and clear all local data via your browser’s storage settings.
- You can block or clear site data/cookies in your browser at any time.
